ABOUT

Born May 4th, 1987 in Rockville, Maryland. Growing up I was surrounded by an array of influences. My father had a passion for photography and my mother is a designer. My love for nature and photography inspired me to teach myself everything I know today. When I began working on my mother's horse farm, taking photos was my way of enjoying inner peace and solitude. I would explore historical towns, chronicle sunsets; the animals I lived amongst were my models.

I moved to New York City June 1st, 2006 at the age of 19. At that time I had no plans or an idea of what I wanted to accomplish. Six months after moving to New York, Travis Brouty, a friend and professional photographer, suggested I should reveal my work. That winter I opened my first exhibit, "Paranorm". It was the first time I ever felt that I had really expressed myself as an artist. The experience changed me, I haven't stopped since.
